Government of Lithuania approved agreement on economic cooperation with Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan
19.11.2008On Wednesday, the interim Cabinet of Ministers approved the intergovernmental agreement on economic cooperation, signed by Lithuania and Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 19 June this year. The agreement is intended to develop and strengthen the economic relations between state institutions and economic operator in all spheres, which are of interest to both countries.

Everybody wants good neighbors: Belarus-Expo in Latvia
13.11.2008The signs of fruitful and mutually beneficial relations between Belarus and Latvia are clearly seen presently in all parts of the country: thus, comfortable trolleybuses are crossing Latvian capital’s streets in various directions. Bilateral trade this year is expected to exceed 2 bln dollars. Another vital step in these relations was made yesterday when the two countries’ prime-ministers, Ivars Godmanis of Latvia and Sergey Sidorskij of Belarus opened on the territory of Latvian Central Exhibition Hall in Riga a new “Belarus-Expo”.

Russia might abandon Nord Stream pipeline project
